What is Liquid Rhinoplasty (liquid nose job)?
A Liquid Rhinoplasty is a non-surgical Dermal Filler procedure that changes the shape of the nose by straightening it, evening out bumps, filling in holes, and/ or improving the tip to make your nose better fit your face. We make the nose more symmetrical and make it look smaller without major surgery, anesthesia or sever swelling. The procedure is very safe when performed by an experienced doctor. A Liquid rhinoplasty will not prevent you from having a surgical rhinoplasty in the future.

Does a Liquid Rhinoplasty hurt?
There is very little pain during the procedure. Numbing cream is applied to the area prior to injection of local lidocaine. The filler also contains lidocaine and will numb the nose from the inside out. After the numbing medications wear off there will be little to no discomfort.
How long does a Liquid Rhinoplasty last?
There are two types of liquid rhinoplasty: temporary and permanent. Temporary fillers last 2-3 years in most people. Best part of the temporary procedure is that it can be reversed. Permanent fillers will last forever but cannot be dissolved. A common protocol is to first place temporary fillers and assess results. If you find your self satisfied, permanent filler is added after about 2 years. This will still be much cheaper than a surgical rhinoplasty.
What are the instructions for after a Liquid Rhinoplasty?
- Gently apply ice packs to your nose as 24-48 hours.
- Keep your head elevated for the first 24 hours. Sleep on your back propped up on a pillow.
- Do not push on, apply pressure, or massage your nose for the first two weeks.
- Do not wear sunglasses for the first 2 weeks
- Make up can be worn at anytime.
- You can get your nose wet (shower, swim, etc.) immediately.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is the only approved treatment to temporarily improve the appearance of both moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows and crow’s feet lines in adults. In addition, BOTOX (R) can be strategically placed to help with under eye line and even give the nose a youthful up-turned appearance.
UNDER EYE FILLERS (tear through)
The under eye or tear trough region is common source of concern for people. As we age, the hollowing around the eyes create a dark shadows, making us look tired, and older. By filling in the hollowing, relaxing wrinkles and lightening the discoloration we can give the eyes a more youthful and rested appearance.
Who is a good candidate for tear trough fillers?
Patients who notice dark circles or a hollowing under the eyes, and/ or have enlarged fat pockets on the lower eyelids. Typically patients without loose skin under the eyes are the best candidates.
Which filler would be used for the eyes?
Like all areas, not all fillers are one size fits all. Choosing the wrong filler will cause puffiness under the eye and make the symptoms worse. Consult with our doctor to see which filler is best for you.
How long do the results of a tear through last?
In most cases, results last about 12 months. Results vary from one patient to another, but trusting your eyes to an experienced doctor like Dr Monz will ensure that the results give you a natural look that will last as long as possible.
What is the recovery time from the tear trough treatment?
The tear trough area has a lot of blood vessels which makes bruising and swelling a possibility. Dr Monz will inject a medicine to numb the skin and tighten the vessels as much as possible to limit the swelling and bruising. If there is bruising, it can be covered with makeup. Swelling typically lasts 2-3 days and will be improved with ice. There is almost no pain with tear trough treatment and you may resume your normal activities after the procedure.
How much does a tear trough treatment cost?
The price depends on the amount of product needed. Most people need one syringe which costs between $500-600. This treatments is typically combined with a small amount of Botox to help the product last longer and remove any wrinkles under the eyes.
Who needs cheek fillers?
Cheek fillers are a good option for someone who has lost / is losing the volume in their cheeks and face in general. The goal is to fill the cheeks just enough to lift any sagging skin and make the face appear youthful and rested. We never want the patient to have large bags under their eyes or look like a “puffer fish”.

Most cheek fillers last about 2 years. Once a patient notices that the fillers are staring to diminish, a touch up will be needed to maintain.

Do lip injections hurt?
The lips are a very sensitive area, Dr Monzer uses an advanced technique for injecting lidocaine to numb the nerves and a topical anesthetic cream to minimize discomfort and maximize the results. There will be some minor swelling for 3-7 days. In case of any minor bruising, you may conceal it with makeup. Any exercises should be avoided for 24 hours, after which you can return to your normal routine and work.
